We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help design, build, and operate highly available and scalable systems. You will play a key role in improving the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our platform, partnering closely with development teams and infrastructure engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy infrastructure solutions that support scalable and resilient applications.• Own and continuously improve the reliability and availability of core systems and services.• Design and implement fully automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production issues and drive root cause resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.• Hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred), or Pulumi for infrastructure provisioning.• Experience using one or more cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their IaC frameworks.• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.• Proficient in Kubernetes operations, including deploying and troubleshooting workloads, managing namespaces, services, deployments, ingress controllers, and performing routine cluster maintenance.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience operating self-managed Kubernetes-deployed open-source services, such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, or InfluxDB clusters.• Familiarity with platform cost optimization and infrastructure budgeting.• Proven track record in designing and implementing highly scalable and resilient systems in complex environments.• Ability to work within constraints to solve both existing and emergent system reliability challenges.• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business-relevant discussions and manage stakeholder expectations.
