We're seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of HICX's expansion, identifying and engaging with Global 5000 companies that can benefit from our supplier management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch or accelerate their career in enterprise SaaS sales. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling
  • Research and identify target accounts within the Global 5000 that would benefit from digital supplier management solutions
  • Supporting marketing and AEs in account-based marketing campaigns aimed at specific accounts
  • Engage with C-Level contacts in procurement, supply chain, and IT leaders to understand their supplier data challenges and qualify opportunities
  • Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executive team
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to provide feedback on campaign effectiveness and help refine messaging, assist with webinar and event campaigns
  • Diligently maintain accurate records of all activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities generated
  • Ensure sales tools such as Clay, Outreach, LinkedIn, Salesforce and Gong is being used for daily sales activities for optimized workflows and successful outreach
  • Stay current on HICX product capabilities, competitive landscape, and industry trends in supplier management and procurement
