About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled senior QA automation engineer (mobile) to join our team. They’ll cover our native iOS app, and all of our react native apps.
This person will be responsible for design and implementing mobile test automation frameworks, executing automated tests, identifying defects, and working with developers to resolve them. This person will have a unique opportunity to build an entire mobile test automation suite from the ground up --convince us which mobile QA automation testing framework we should use!

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and implement mobile test automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms using Calabash or other relevant tools.
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Drive the current test automation frameworks and QA processes, set best practices, and ensure a high level of app stability.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile test automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mobile applications meet quality standards.

You're perfect for the role if...

• You have at least 3 years of mobile test automation experience using Calabash, Appium, or other relevant tools.
• You have strong knowledge of mobile app development frameworks and platforms (iOS and Android).
• You have experience building complex test suites and creating manual testing plans for both short-term and long-term projects from scratch.
• You have strong judgement and attention to detail when it comes to architectural, product, design, and process decisions. Your judgement inspires a high level of trust within the team.
• You have a desire to work in an environment which values speed of iteration and individual autonomy.
• (Highly preferred) Experience working with React Native or Swift.
• (Highly preferred) Knowledge of CI / CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.

$100,000 - $125,000 a yearCash compensation shown is a starting point, and we want all of our team members to be able to grow in their roles. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, our cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis on the anniversary of your hire date.
