Senior Manager, Developer Campaign Manager

The Integrated Marketing team is looking for a Developer Campaign leader to lead strategies and tactics to increase 1Password’s awareness, adoption, and advocacy across various technical audiences. You will have a direct business impact, overseeing campaigns end-to-end from strategy and execution to testing and optimization.
We’re looking for a Sr Marketing Campaign Manager to bring 1Password story and value to life creatively for our developer community. Knowledge of the software development industry and the security space is a must. Part strategy, part execution, this role requires the ability to think high-level and long-term at both an industry-level and in thinking about how we tell the holistic 1Password story through campaigns. 
They will be responsible for building out strategic marketing campaigns to help tell stories about 1Password’d offering and how it supports the broader software ecosystem. In order to do this, they have a strong understanding of the challenges developers face and love the task of connecting them with the best solutions so they can focus on what matters, building great software. 
In this role you will work cross-functionally, including with Developer Relations, Product Marketing, Product, Engineering and the entire Marketing team to prioritize business opportunities and synthesize marketing strategies to deliver efficient and aligned marketing plans and associated KPIs.

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience developing and deploying marketing awareness and demand generation programs for technical audiences
  • Knowledge of the software development industry and experience building marketing programs for the developer community
  • Experience in a B2B / B2C  and technical environment, high-tech products/services required
  • Ability to forge strong internal and external partner relationships and communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources
  • Ability to create B2B technology value propositions and messaging
  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills
  • Critical thinking and a passion for driving results
  • Strong self-management  and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines; the willingness to work extended hours on occasion as required by the business

What you can expect:

  • Promote developer community and share stories about how developers are using 1Password to improve how devs are using 1Password to implement secure coding practices and integrations around the world
  • Work with the brand experience team to organize and facilitate community events. Identify and develop the event strategy including immersion days, hackathons, workshops, and other activations that drives engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help deliver on OKR’s for revenue targets
  • Develop content and creative that showcases our developer ecosystem, innovation, and solutions that can be leverage across multiple tactics by leveraging multiple creative mediums
  • Work with the team of cross-line-of-business and cross-channel marketing to create technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, screencasts, podcasts, webinars, etc.
  • By leveraging a breadth of customer and market insights, you will assess new areas of opportunity to support business needs and establish marketing campaigns and plans
  • You will cultivate cross-company relationships that drive greater impact and reach of Integrated Marketing initiatives
  • Through the development of workback schedules and marketing calendars, you will identify key milestones and deliver internal communications to align teams at a predictable cadence. You will also excel as project manager on initiatives you lead and drive rigor into team processes

United States-based roles only: Minimum annual salary for this role is $150,000USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. All employees are owners of 1Password and receive an equity grant as part of their total package.
