Our Shared Services team is dedicated to our customers in ensuring they are successful and happy in the Accruent products they purchase. You will be a part of a growing and developing team of Professional Services Engineers who deliver critical technical tasks to make our customers successful. Further, you will help develop internal processes to scale our delivery. We are looking for highly motivated, fast moving, and dynamic individuals to help deliver technical services for our world class platform solutions.

What are your responsibilities in this role:

As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a variety of technical tasks for our customers. Your responsibilities will include data migrations, system migrations, customizations, integrations, upgrades, customer technical environment reviews and technical troubleshooting. You will work with customers to deploy technical best practices, identify areas for improvement and assist with the long-term maintenance of their solution.  You will work with a team of technical consultants to effectively deliver solutions. You will help build up the skillset and acumen of associate-level teammates. The Senior Professional Services Engineer will work on developing tools and automation of tasks to improve scalability and efficient delivery of services.  You will think creatively about process and delivery improvement and be actively involved in developing solutions to improve how we deliver our solutions.  You will be closely working together with the Professional Services Project team, Support team and Product & Engineering teams.

This role will be focused initially on working on/with our Connectiv and TMS products within the Healthcare industry, however opportunities for cross-product support will arise. This position reports to the Director, Shared Services and is a remote work opportunity.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Perform data migrations, system migrations, upgrades, solution customizations, and integrations as needed per SOW scope.
  • Mentor and develop associate-level team members to perform complex technical tasks.
  • Actively participate in process and tool development to improve and scale delivery of professional services engineering tasks.
  • Engage in troubleshooting efforts for customers as needed to identify and rectify technical issues encountered during implementation and for those actively engaged in managed service programs.
  • Connect with product and support teams to effectively communicate solution issues, report bugs and drive toward excellence.
  • Be proactive in anticipating customer needs and recommending solutions to meet those needs
  • Participate in the development, growth and adoption of Shared Services best practices including processes, tools and automation
  • Manage delivery metrics and maintain utilization targets
  • Keep knowledge and service delivery skills up-to-date for Accruent solutions
  • Keep internal administration up-to-date by precisely performing administrative tasks on-time

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldand a minimum of 5 years of relevant technical consulting or engineering experience
  • Knowledge of ServiceNOW, C#, .NET, T-SQL, Python and XML
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
