As Product Manager for Platform Operations, Relability & Security, you are responsible for driving the strategy and roadmap of the performance, availability, reliability, security and disaster recovery aspects of Uniphore’s X platform. Your role entails close collaboration with cross-functional teams, in particular the Product and Engineering teams that build and operate all applications and services on the X Platform. You need to understand the key dependencies across systems and with respect to the above-mentioned nonfunctional requirements. You need to define the platform requirements, guide engineering and dev ops teams during the development lifecycle.  You will partner closely with Product Managers, Platform SREs and Platform Engineering. Success in this role requires the ability to work across Uniphore Platform and the various product lines of Uniphore to establish and build rapport with various internal stakeholders. Candidate should have experience working with other application product management, engineering, InfoSec, professional services, sales engineering and support teams.  Candidates should be great brand ambassadors of Uniphore in external discussions with partners and customers about Uniphore’s X Platform. Ideal candidates will have professional experience building and managing state-of-the-art multi-tenant SaaS platforms with particular specialization on non-functional requirements. You will be able to balance business needs, delivery costs with technical constraints and love bringing new platform capabilities to the market, to the application developers, and to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with customer, partner and sales engineering team members to understand the performance, availability, reliability, disaster recovery, etc. capabilities expected from the platform and leverage this understanding to evolve Uniphore X Platform capabilities.
• Work closely with Info Sec team to understand the security considerations expected by the market for installing confidence in the security posture exhibited by the platform and to be in conformance with regulatory and compliance needs.
• Work closely with Finance to understand the cost consideration and optimization required to have good operating margins for applications deployed on X Platform
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to prioritize and schedule integration work into the Uniphore roadmap and release plan.
• Work with Uniphore Engineering & QA to ensure that X Platform is load and stress tested on a continuing basis in conformance to the acceptance criteria described by you.
• Work with Uniphore Delivery & Support to identify issues or key problems from performance, availability, reliability, disaster recovery, etc. capabilities of X Platform.
• Work collaboratively with the GTM and operational teams on the product roadmap, timings, and key product milestones
• Report to Product Management leadership & operations on progress against ongoing roadmaps for X Platform non-functional capabilities.
• Respond to queries from the wider business about Platform’s performance, availability, reliability, disaster recovery, etc. capabilities.

Required Skills / Experience

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science/IT Engineering or related fields
• 6+ years of experience in delivering SaaS based / web-based products with 4+ years of Product Management experience. Experience working with SaaS SRE teams is a plus.
• Excellent technical skill with respect to non-functional aspects of cloud software development.
• Experience in working in Agile methodologies and maintaining successful working relationships with engineering
• Proven analytical thinking, big picture & business thinking, leadership, problem solving, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
• Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail
• Excellent written & oral communication
