Zipdev is looking for a Java Developer who has worked with APIs, and knows Spring Boot; to work with one of our clients. They are a digital marketing company in the home service space looking to expand our team into development. They've recently hired a senior developer and want to add someone to their team.

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you'll be involved in developing high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Java-based applications with a focus on cloud services and API integration.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with a seasoned Senior Developer who’s worked to design and implement Java applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code based on best practices.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
• Develop applications for cloud environments, particularly AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, and develop RESTful services as required.
• Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies within the Java ecosystem.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Engage in educational opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.
